Jubilee is a celebration of many wonderful needlepoint techniques. While some of these may be familiar to you, some may be techniques you never knew you knew and some are sure to be completely new.
The piece is based on the Sampler quilts, using 12 different quilt block designs. Each block is a variation on Nine Patch, one of the most popular blocks.
Threads for the piece are based on one of four colors of The Caron Collection's Watercolours. Pictured is the Amethyst colorway. Others include Forest Fire (vibrant oranges and greens), Meadow (soft greens with pink and blue as accents), Twilight (blues and aquas with hints of pink and tan) and Tobacco (soft golds, tans and pinks).
This piece presents a challenge for the Intermediate stitcher and creates a piece which is a real heirloom!
