Needlepoint
She began doing needlepoint, just barely into her teens, in 1970 and hasn't looked back. A confirmed fiberholic, she uses many different threads in her needlepoint, developing innovative and easy techniques for acheiving great effects. Her guides are reknowned for their delightful use of threads and stitches.
She is an expert in needlepoint, both on the Web and through her writing as the Needlepoint Pro for Cross-Stitch & Needlework magazine. Her projects and articles have been published in many of the leading needlepoint magazines, including Needlepoint Now, Needlepointers, Needlework Retailer, and Needlepoint Plus. She works with designers, shops, and thread manufacturers on new products and regularly reports on trends in needlepoint. Her email newsletter (and blog), Nuts about Needlepoint, is in its tenth year of publication and is the largest independant email newsletter in needlepoint.
Janet was the orignal Needlepoint Guide for About.com, developing her site into a premier information source on thje Internet for needlepoint. Today that information is available through a number of platforms including ebooks, books, chart packs, blogs, and websites.
