Stitch Guides are one of the hottest innovations in needlepoint today!

With the explosion of new threads and the many new needlepoint stitch dictionaries, needlepointers can become confused when faced with a lovely hand-painted canvas. They love the design, but might not know what threads or stitches will bring out the best in a design.

Needlework shop owners say that many of their customer want and ask for help in reading a needlepoint canvas. They are looking for ideas for threads and stitches to bring out the best in your canvases.

Napa Needlepoint specializes in creating innovative stitch guides which are a pleasure for your customers. Our stitch guides are clearly written and are designed to be useful to the stitcher. I work closely with you to create a stitch guide which expresses your ideas about the canvas.

Stitch Guides and Maps always contain:

I offer three levels of Stitch Guides.

Stitch Maps are simple. They include diagrams of stitches, a guide to where they go, and a list of suggested threads. I do take into account your likes and dislikes in this matter.

They are the least expensive option.

Stitch Guides have more discursive material on the canvas, along with everything in the Stitch Maps. It's more like a project book for a class, or like my project books. There is also a higher level of stitch guide, Stitch Guide Classes, which has additional material.

Prices for stitch guides for designers are done on a per piece basis with a royalty for each copy sold. Other arrangements are also possible, please contact me.
